| Nicola Daley Director of Photography
Nicola moved from England to Sydney in 1999. She was accepted into the prestigious Australian Film, TV and Radio School to study Cinematography in 2003. She is incredibly passionate about her work and loves the opportunity to collaborate on set. In 2009 she won the World of Women Film Festival award for best Cinematography. In 2008 she won the FujiFilm Flickerfest Award for Best Cinematography for the AFC short film, ‘Play’. In 2006 Nicola was awarded the Best Student Cinematography Award at the National Australian Cinematographers’ Society Awards for the short film ‘Debut’. She worked on the 2007 Oscar nominated film ‘The Saviour’. In 2005 she was awarded the AFTRS High Achievement Award in Cinematography and she shot the 2005 Tropfest winning film 'Australian Summer'. Nicola has won a Gold NSW ACS Award for the short films 'Late Shift', 'Crooked Mick' and 'Debut'. 'Debut' was also invited to be screened at the prestigious 2005 Camerimage Film festival in Poland. Most recently she has worked with some of Australia’s most talented Documentarians including Tom Zubrycki, Curtis Levy, Ruth Cullen, and Jessica Douglas-Henry. Girl Clock! is Nicola’s first feature film and she loved every minute of the process.
