French Screen composer, now Australian resident, Loic Valmy has brought his European musical influences to the Australian cinema Industry. His passion for cinema is as strong as his passion for music. He has composed for international feature films, mostly french, TV series and documentaries. “In my career, I haven’t been given many comedies to score. Untill now, I had composed mostly for romantic comedies, dramas or action movies. I love scoring these types of films, but I must confess that Girl Clock was a fantastic experience, (not to mention the pleasure I had to work with Jennifer). This film is so rich in emotions, it required everything music wise. Emotion, sadness, sensitivity but also, suspense, action and of course a lot of humour and ‘quirkiness’ – a brand new word for me. I can’t describe the pleasure I took scoring it and I hope it shows in the final score.”
